PACKAGING & RECIPE
Eco-Food Packaging
We are 8 students continuing their studies at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) which consists of several costs. We are tasked with innovating there are locally made products. We have listed several companies that we will choose and finally we chose the Mee Kari Opah product as the product that we will innovate. The innovation that we will try to do on this product is that we want to make packaging plastic that is easy to decompose. we see that there are many packaging plastics that are not easily decomposed or take too long to decompose out there which causes a lot of pollution that is increasing every year such as air pollution, soil pollution and others. Plastics that are not easily decomposed can also harm the ecosystem of liars. There are some animals that think that plastic is food. You are hereby taking the initiative to innovate the packaging of Mee Kari Opah in order to reduce environmental pollution.
About Mee Kari Opah
Mee Kari Opah is a dish originating in Malaysia with a rich and varied culinary landscape. Malaysians have a special place in their hearts for this dish. Opah, which in Malay means "grandmother," represents the dish's enduring history and handcrafted flavours. The Mee Kari Opah recipe has been handed down through the years, evolving and adapting to fit various locations and individual tastes, making it a completely customizable and adaptable dish.
Mee Kari Opah's Heart and Soul is a delectable curry broth, which is present throughout the entire dish. This broth is made with a blend of spices, including turmeric, chilli, coriander, and cumin, which give the soup layers of delicious aromas. Coconut milk, which gives the meal a creamy and faintly sweet undertone, helps to temper the curry's richness.
Yellow noodles are served alongside the savoury broth and act as a vehicle for robust flavours by absorbing the flavour of the curry. The noodles are frequently served with various ingredients, such as tender chunks of meat or chicken, giant prawns, fresh herbs like cilantro, crisp bean sprouts and a squeeze of lime for a hint of tanginess. Each bite is a delicious explosion of flavours thanks to the harmonious blending of these ingredients' textures and flavours.
Mee Kari Opah's adaptability, which allows it to be tailored to diverse dietary tastes, is one of its best qualities. In place of the meat, vegetarians and vegans can have a delicious variation of this dish by using tofu, tempeh, or a variety of veggies. Mee Kari Opah has become a familiar comfort food loved by people from all walks of life due to its versatility and accessibility.
Mee Kari Opah is a dish that symbolizes Malaysia's culinary tradition and cultural diversity, whether consumed as a quick street food meal, a filling dinner with family and friends, or a rare treat at a nearby restaurant.
